I was born in Atlanta, GA, in the Morningside area, the first of four children. I grew up in Doraville and attended Cross Keys High School and later Georgia State University where I was an art major. I married, had children, and worked at AT&T leaving little time to pursue art or to finish my art degree. After 31 years of service, AT&T offered an early retirement. So, my second career and life's work, was launched creating art.
My first love is painting but I am also a little geekish about computers as well. Here are some of the things I do, so if you are interested in contracting me for something simply send me an email or fill out the Contact form.
I do marketing for other artists including: website development and maintenance, Constant Contact and Mail Chimp email campaigns, creation of business cards, postcards, note cards, posters, out door banners, page layout design, and logos.
I have painted several commissioned oil portraits of people and pets, a mural on the walls of the church Education wing in 2012, and a 21’ labyrinth on the floor of the Rainbow Village Chapel in Duluth in 2015, with help from Bruce Halliburton.
I created and managed a website for Christ Church Episcopal. I volunteer at the church on a ongoing basis to provide my artistic skill in the creation of out door banners, fliers, postcards, posters, and graphics for FaceBook and web.
